Groenvlei's like that: its easy-going farm lifestyle and welcoming hosts make you feel so comfortable that you settle right in right away.

Accommodation (self-catering or catered) is offered in a choice of 4, 2, or 1 -bedroomed private and fully equipped cottages which are serviced daily. Braai equipment and wood is available. For chilly winter nights, when snowfalls are possible, each unit has a fireplace and electric blankets.

There is a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities to fill your country days. We have volley ball, a tennis court, bicycles, horses, swimming, a games room, 210 bird species, eleven marked hiking trails, including a “Bossie-path” with typical Karoo plants. Biltong enthusiasts can enquire about family hunting.

OR just sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Karoo, while your children explore their safe surroundings on our working sheep farm - feed the pigs, bottle-feed the lambs, milk a cow.....

No stay at GROENVLEI is complete without experiencing our very popular traditional farm cuisine; menus and meal times will gladly be adapted to suit your preferences.

Buffet dinners are always very popular, with Karoo lamb, fresh veges, salads & dessert on the menu. Simple, farm fresh produce always guarantees a good meal. Coffee, tea, milk and homemade rusks are provided in each unit.
