Situated in a peaceful residential area of King Williams Town, Twins Guest House is an ideal base in this historic and diverse corner of the Eastern Cape.
Whether you are working, exploring the area or just after relaxing in a lush garden next to a lovely pool Twins Guest House is the ideal base. It is conveniently situated 5km from Bisho and halfway between Durban and Cape Town on the R63 – a stones throw from the N2.
Owners Quinta and Alida and Managers Mark and Janell as well as joyful Aunt Sarah will be your hosts, and will effortlessly create an environment where tranquility, style and homeliness combine to create an environment which will entice you back again and again.
Twins offers 20 tastefully decorated outside rooms across 3 properties each with their own entrance and secure parking and 2 rooms inside. Each room has its own en suite bathroom, microwave oven, tea and coffee station, TV and DSTV (Hotel Bouquet) and Wi-Fi on the main property only. Air-conditioning comes standard, as does a small work space. Dinner, laundry service, lunch packs, administrative duties and transport are available on request.
The dining room is in the main house, and has wonderful views of the beautifully maintained garden and swimming pool. Here hearty home cooked meals are served up daily. For breakfast you can choose between full English or Continental whilst dinners are buffet-style. Each evening on request we serve a delicious meat/fish/vegetarian dish, locally grown vegetables, salads and a tempting deserts. And on those cold Eastern Cape winter evenings, you may well find the twins have whipped up a piping hot home made soup with fresh bread.
Twins Guesthouse is run as a family business and managed by Quinta Carr, a hotel school graduate with years of experience in the hospitality industry which also includes two years of running guest houses in the United Kingdom. She shares the management responsibility with her mother, Alida Jacobsz, an experienced businesswoman and also famous painter of our décor which creates a unique atmosphere throughout the rooms, dinning room and reception area.

For bookings longer than 14 days before arrival 50% of the invoice has to be paid within 24 hours of acceptance of the quote and the balance on arrival. Please use electronic internet payment method. Account details will be supplied. Credit card payments can be made.
Proof of payment must be provided before the booking is secured. Non-payment will result in cancellation of the booking..
Once a booking has been confirmed, the guest or booking agency is responsible for full payment if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival.
Once a voucher has been issued, it cannot be revoked and this voucher is a commitment of the guest or booking agency for full payment as promised on the voucher.
Travel agents can issue vouchers to secure bookings. This voucher must be received on the same day the booking was made. Payment must follow within 48 hours. Non-payment will result in cancellation of the reservation.
If cancelled more than 3 months prior to arrival, the full deposit will be refunded less a 10% administration fee.
If cancelled 1-3 months prior to arrival, 50% of the deposit will be refunded less a 10% administration fee.
If cancelled less than 1 month prior to arrival, the full deposit will be forfeited.
No refunds for late arrivals or premature departures.
In highly exceptional circumstances Twins Guest House reserves the right to re-locate guests to alternative accommodation of similar or higher standard at no extra cost.
