Summertime Stone Cottage, made of sandstone, is located in the heart of Clarens and boasts panoramic views of Clarens Mountain and the Rooiberge in the distance. Guests can look forward to hiking in the mountain wilderness and watching the Black Wildebeest streaming across the mountains. Blesbuck, Springbuck and Zebra can also be seen at play.The surrounding lush landscape offers a place of tranquillity, away from the bustle of city life.
The 3 en-suite bedrooms, individually decorated, have a spacious lounge with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The covered patio features a barbeque and is ideal for entertaining. Fresh linen and towels are provided for all cottages. There are no credit card facilities.
Guests can look forward to hiking at Schaapplaats or game viewing on horseback. Tourists can visit bushman paintings and Boer war graves. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the wide variety of indigenous species. The large dam, attracting wildlife, is the ideal place to spot game in the area. Cycling enthusiasts can look forward to many different routes.
