Cornelia and Ian will welcome you to Corians where we provide you friendly top class service in the garden park of the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast Situated midway between Durban and Margate and 12km south of Scottburgh, Corians offers a perfect holiday destination to soak up the suns rays and explore the magic of the South Coast.
A pristine beach is a 2-minute walk from the resort and features great surf and abundant rock pools Penningtons main beach area can be found a further 500m along the beach and features a large tidal pool, an excellent swimming beach and a delightful little kiosk that sells snacks and drinks Local attractions include Crocworld, the Vernon Crookes nature reserve; diving off the Aliwal shoal and visiting the spectacular Oribi gorge nature reserve There are excellent fishing and mussel spots to be found along the beach at low tide and of course there is always the fascination of collecting the many beautiful shells that can be found on our beaches The Umdoni and Selbourne golf courses are not more than 5km away and tennis and bowls can be arranged at the Sezela club
Beautiful indigenous trees abound in the park and besides supporting a bird population in excess of 80 species they provide plenty of shade during the hot summer months. Our caravan/ camping sites are unique in that well-trimmed hedges providing you with a degree of privacy not generally found in caravan parks bound the majority on three sides All sites are provided with the new regulation 15amp plug sockets for your convenience Entertainment in the park is provided for both young and old during in season and is centred around two entertaiment areas The hall is situated adjacent to a sparkling swimming Pool and is used as a venue for Dances, Discos and in-door sports such as table tennis and darts The Cottage boasts two Pools tables a dartboard, a TV room, and a Braai area and is a place to relax and enjoy the company of friends A childrens playground adjacent to the Cottage provides lots of fun for the kiddies and includes two trampolines
