Set on 2 verdant acres ofindigenous & exotic garden overlooking tranquil farmlands, with rolling lawns, a swimming pool and profuse bird life& butterflies, the Gateway Country Lodge is a traditionally styled lodge situated in Umhlanga Rocks.

All rooms are en-suite, with have private entrances & patios overlooking the garden.
Each room is equippedwith ample workspace, air-conditioning, DSTV, hostess tray and hairdryer. Some roomsdo havefridges available.Microwave facilities are available.
In addition, the property offers a Self Catering garden flat, with a main bedroom and children’s bunk in living area. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast nook, DSTV and air conditioners.
Breakfast can be taken in an elegant dining room, or on a covered patio facing the gardens and farmlands. Kosher, vegetarian and special diets catered for.
Gateway Country Lodge has a large swimming pool set among beautiful gardens and rolling lawns for guests to enjoy. With two acres of garden, both exotic and indigenous, birdwatchers and nature lovers have an excellent opportunity to enjoy many species of birds, butterflies and tortoises.
Horse riding, Gyms and Golf Clubs are close by, and there is a traditional lounge with a piano, fireplace and DSTV to while away the long cold winter nights.
The renowned safe beaches of Umhlanga Rocks and the Dolphin Coast are 5 minutes away by car. Scuba diving, Dolphin viewing and a visit to the Natal Sharks Board can be arranged.
