DESCRIPTION
Kondowe boasts comfortable accommodation in the middle of the bush where utter peace can be enjoyed. There is no electricity, everything is solar powered to enhance the eco-friendly environment. Coffee, tea and freshly baked rusks are available early morning. Friendly staff are ready to provide excellent service at all times. Safe, undercover carports. Accommodation is self catering with catering available on request.
Leadwood Lodge:
Situated on the eastern banks of the seasonal Makwena River. Ideal for family or friends, offering 3 spacious rondavels (sleeping 2 people each) with en-suite bathrooms and each with aprivate verandah.Two luxury tents are also available for the wild-hearted. A communal kitchen with a gas stove and fridge, crockery and cutlery, open dining area with a wooden staircase leading to the river bed. Additional lighting is provided by lanterns which enhance the romantic ambience.
McKnight Cottage:
This luxury guest cottage is an old style farmhouse which was given a makeover with modern influences, ensuring a comfortable and stylish stay. It consists of 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an outdoor shower, living area with sleeper couch, kitchen with gas stove, fridge, crockery and cutlery. The interior walls are Pandome with rust-stained cement floors enhancing the old farmhouse lifestyle that is so loved in the bushveld. A boma and splash pool for your enjoyment overlooking a watering hole. Soft solar lights, white ceilings and downlights add to the serenity of the cottage. Lush green lawns compliment the tranquility of this unit.
Baobab Lodge:
If you rather opt for a fully catered getaway, then Baobab Lodge is where you want to stay.Here at the main lodge there are two luxury rooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with a bathroom just down the hall.Relax at our swimming pool and enjoy the beautiful view of the lit Baobab tree at night, this is really a spectacular sight.
