Gunthers Country House

Gunthers Country House, set in picturesque Messina, offers a clean and comfortable stay for both leisure and business stays. The guest house is ideal for an overnight stay en-route to Zimbabwe or the Kruger National Park. All rooms are individually decorated and feature air conditioning, television with DSTV, complimentary toiletries and a ceiling fan. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms.

The large swimming pool is the ideal place to relax during hot summer days and the barbeque area is perfect for outdoor dining and entertainment. Guests can read their books or meet other guests in the sunny lounge which opens out in to the well maintained garden. Many indigenous bird species visit the beautiful garden. A hearty breakfast is served daily in the airy dining room, preparing guests for a busy day ahead.

Pets are permitted by prior arrangement. Credit card facilities are also available. Guests can park their vehicles securely onsite. A laundry and ironing service is available at an extra cost.

Limpopo Valley National Park is South Africa's youngest and northernmost Park, declared around the historical archaeological site of Mapungubwe. It houses the fauna and flora of the Shasi area.
