DESCRIPTION
Forest Creek nestles in a gorge of the Steenkampsburg Mountains, which is the end of the Drakensberg Mountain range. Set in a Private Nature reserve of the Mpumalanga escarpment. The gorge is softened only by a blanket of shrubs and trees which have grown in this malaria-free zone over millennia.
On this magnificent piece of land we hope we have catered for everyone, from Luxury guest suites at the main lodge to the Forest Cottage, Bee Eater self & Sunbird self catering options. There are hiking trails along the stream under the canopy of trees. Treat yourself to an hour or two of relaxation in our Forest Spa

Day visitors are welcome, and can book any of our activities - cost per person is R50.00
Things to see and do in the area include hiking God`s Window, the Pinnacle view point, Bourke`s Luck potholes, the Echo Caves, Mac Mac Falls, Berlin and Lisbon Falls, Blyde River Canyon, Sudwala Caves, visiting Graskop and doing the big swing, Shangana Cultural Village, Pilgrim`s Rest, mountain biking, hot air ballooning, elephant interaction and skyway trails.
This 4* lodge and spa offers luxury lodge accommodation where all of the bedrooms come fully equipped with TV (DSTV), mini bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes, private verandah, outdoor showers, queen/king size bed (two of the rooms have four poster beds), fireplace (one of the rooms) and ball and claw baths in the Narina and Cinnamon suites, along with our door stone showers
The self catering wooden Forest cottage is 1/2 km away from the main lodge and offers rustic accommodation, forest views and privacy.This cottage comes fully equipped with lounge/dining room, fireplace, one bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom and one smaller room with single bed, sleeper couch in the lounge, braai facilities and outdoor patio furniture.
