Westlodge B&B

Westlodge is a magnificent, architecturally designed Victorian styled bed and breakfast establishment, situated at an elevation of 1 442m above sea level, in the village of Graskop, Mpumalanga, on the edge of the Drakensberg Escarpment. The bed and breakfast is surrounded by beautiful green mountains and Pine forests. Graskop is situated in the heart of the Panorama Route.

The two luxury and stylishly decorated Garden Suites are situated in a detached wing but connected to the main building by means of a covered verandah. The rooms face north and overlook the rose garden. Both the West and East Suites feature slipper baths and separate showers with hand basin and a separate WC and bidet. The West offers a Queen sized bed and the East offers twin three quarter beds. Satellite TV and hospitality trays have been provided for your comfort. The rooms have oil heaters, fans and electric under-blankets on the beds.

The Rozen and Bathroom is a luxury en-suite bedroom for a romantic stay. This charming room faces north and is secluded at the rear, north-western corner of one of the buildings wings, away from the road. It is quiet and faces a garden with trees and shrubs. Situated on the ground floor, at the end of a private verandah, it has its own entrance. The room has a king sized bed; Victorian cast iron bath; separate shower; two vanity hand basins; separate WC and bidet with satellite TV and hospitality tray. The room also has an oil heater and electric under blanket on the bed.

There are two luxury en-suite bedrooms on the first floor of the main house which face east overlooking ‘Fairyland’. A private lounge furnished in cane is situated between the two rooms which also share an open balcony from which to enjoy the view on a warm, balmy evening.

The ‘Madelief’ room features twin three-quarter beds, and is on the southern side of the building and has a separate shower and bath with hand basin and WC.

The ‘Wedgewood’ room features a queen sized bed, on the northern side of the building facing Gods Window in the distance, and features a shower over the bath with hand basin and WC.

Our newest addition is the "Martin" Room.Located on the ground floor of the main house, it offers a garden entrance, Queen sized bed, shower ONLY, with WC and Bidet as well as hand basin.A flat screen Plasma TV with satellite viewing and hospitality tray ensure comfortable relaxation.The bed offers electric under blankets.

Westlodge is able to make your experience even more comfortable and stress-free by offering evening meals for the travel-weary.Two and three-course home-cooked meals are on offer.Vegetarians are very welcome and the cuisine boasts ample portions.Beef, Chicken, Fresh water Trout, Lamb and Vegetarian dishes are available.Refreshments are available to enjoy with your meal.

Westlodge is close to all the spectacular view sites including Gods Window (12km); Lisbon Falls (6km); Berlin Falls (12km); Bourkes Luck Pot Holes (38km); Blyde River Canyon and Three Rondawels (58km) and less than a hours drive from the Kruger National Park (Phabeni Gate 58km).

The village of Graskop is 28km from Sabie featuring magnificent waterfalls whilst Pilgrims Rest to the west is 18km from Graskop. Both Sabie and Graskop offer unparalleled mountain biking trails.

Activities within close proximity include golf at the 9 hole Pilgrims Rest golf club; trout fishing; the Big Swing in Graskop and numerous other activities at Hazyview a mere 38km the b and b.
