MalaMala Game Reserve

MalaMala Game Reserve is the epitome of luxury safari in Mpumalanga. At 13 300 hectares it is also the largest privately owned game reserve in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, and is sandwiched between Sabi Sands and the Kruger National Park, sharing a 19km common boundary with this famous Park.

Go on exciting game drives conducted from open 4x4 safari vehicles or night drives with the help of powerful spotlights, enjoy breakfast and lunch are served in a charming air conditioned dining room overlooking the Sand River. Children of all ages are welcome at this lodge in MalaMala Game Reserve, however, those aged 5 and under will not be allowed to dine in the boma or participate in game drives unless their parents have booked sole use of the Landrover. Family rooms can be used as a triple or quad room with the separate lounge being converted into a bedroom.Every suite/standard room at this lodge in has 2 bathrooms.

Rattrays Camp in the MalaMala Game Reserve represents a classical into Africa safari experience. Rattrays offers luxury safari camp accommodation for only 16 guests in 8 suites. The suites in the camp are elevated, and have their own plunge pools. The main building has a library, wine cellar, and a viewing deck with telescope.

MalaMalas Sable Camp features a traditional African boma, and an air-conditioned dining room leading onto a wooden deck with panoramic views of the surrounding bush. The camp also boasts a swimming pool, and a lounge area with satellite television, continuous internet access, and a selection of books and wildlife videos.

Sable Camp operates as a stand-alone camp and accommodates only 14 guests in 5 suites and The Lions Den Suite, which accommodates 4 guests in 2 inter-leading rooms.
