Lydenburg Manor Guest House
DESCRIPTION
The guest house has rooms that are all en-suite and with separate garden entrances. All have a TV with M-Net and limited Satellite TV as well as WiFi. There are four double rooms with a shower, eight deluxe double rooms with bath and shower, one deluxe family suite which sleeps five, and three luxury suites with bath and shower and open fireplace.
The guesthouse also has a intimate pub/lounge with an open fireplace where guests can enjoy breakfast. The Manor Guest House caters for special occasions and also has small-group and conference facilities. Dinners are available on request and the guesthouse is known for superb country cuisine.
The country town of Lydenburg on the Escarpment at the start of the Panorama Route is a wonderful example of a South African settlement with its own complement of entertainment and quaint history for visitors to enjoy. The area and its beautiful game farms, rivers and reserves has a wide variety of entertaining pastime for adventurous guests, including, trout fishing, bird watching, nature walks and hiking with a mix of sports such as golf, bowls and squash.
For a more leisurely outing, there are several fine restaurants as well as Museums and Historical monuments. The area is malaria-free.
