Villa Afriq

Villa Afriq is a self-catering guest house situated in the beautiful little town of Lydenburg, centrally located between the beautiful Panorama Route, Dullstroom, Sabie, Pilgrims Rest, Ohrigstad and the Blyde River Gorge.

Villa Afriq is only 80 minutes away from the Kruger and Numbi gates to the Kruger Park on a route that will take you over the Long Tom Pass through Sabie and Hazyview.

Guests have a choice of five fully furnished double en-suite rooms decorated in a luxurious style. Each unit is equipped with a modern kitchen, satellite television, and a stunning veranda with braai / fireplace facilities where guests can relax in comfortable deck chairs with cushions and beautiful surroundings in a private garden. Although Villa Afriq is self-catering, meals can be provided on request.

The guest house offers little guests a wonderful playground, trampoline, table tennis, bicycles and trees to climb, to enjoy as well as a sparkling swimming pool to cool down in on those very hot summer days.Villa Afriq is a short walk from convenient stores and restaurants.

Lydenburg has a game reserve with hiking trails and an interesting museum which is well worth a visit. For the avid fisherman the town and surrounds are well known as a trout fishing haven.

The is an array of activities in the area including a visit to the Kruger Park, fly-fishing, hiking trails, cycling the Long Tom pass, hunting, river rafting and horse riding.Day trips and scenic flights can be organised on request and there are guided tours on offer to the Panorama route, Kruger Park and Bilene (Mozambique).
