Kambaku River Lodge

Kambaku River Lodge is in the heart of the Lowveld, surrounded by mountains – with a 180 degree vista of the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park, home to the Big Five. Kambaku River Lodge is privately owned by Tony and Leanne Santana and takes it’s name from one of the legendary Magnificent Seven big tusker elephants.

A maximum of 14 guests per night, can enjoy the luxury serviced 3 bedroom house or separate self containedsuites/units,with superb views of the river and KrugerNational Park.All self-catering or bed and breakfast on request.All bedrooms have an option of King beds or twin beds, dressed in percale linen with down duvets.

Regular sightings of hippo, large herds of elephant and buffalo, rhino, leopard and many more interesting species can be viewed from the comfort of your room or patio.Leopard have been sighted on numerous occasions.A haven for the bird lover with an abundance of birdlife all year round,providing many photographic memories.

The cry of the fish eagle is often heard as it soars high in the sky epitomising the heart of Africa. Tranquil evenings around the fire experiencing the African sounds and starlit nights. Self drive to the Kruger National Park or we can arrange one of the many specialised safari excursions that are offered in open game vehicles.
