Drakenzicht is a privately owned Golf destination in Schoemanskloof offering weekend & holiday accommodation specifically for the local family market and business groups. It is set high up on a mountain top at 1380m above sea level on 250 hectares. Right on the edge of the Drakensberg Escarpment where the grasslands of the Mpumalanga Highveld meets the warm Lowveld. It enjoys uninterrupted views of the Schoemanskloof valley with its spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
Drakenzicht offers self catering accommodation for up to 22 guests in stone built chalets with thatched roofs. The rooms are decorated with natural fabrics in an earthy palette to calm the senses. All rooms are facing towards the spectacular view of the valley.
The Mountain Links Golf Course is our main activity. This very challenging 9 hole course (SAGA Affiliated) is built in the typical links style with spectacular views from anywhere on the course. Clubhouse and fully licensed bar facilities available daily.
