Situated at the foot of the Madabugela Mountain and surrounded by a 50 hectare Pecan Nut orchard, it surely is a sight to behold. The farm Bodenstadt is located very close to the local town Piet Retief which can be reached by a short 15 minute drive.

Piet Retief is situated centrally to many popular tourist destinations and is your perfect half-way stop between Johannesburg and Durban. There is also a very vibrant German community whom are descendants of a German Missionary settlement which established itself in the region in the late 19th century.
