Welcome to Cawood's Hope Game Lodge, a privately owned family run farm in the famous northern Cape of South Africa.
Our 4 star game lodge is set in 10 acres of lush green grass and colourful native flowers with secret gardens and two wild overgrown pools, which with views from the rooms and lodge entrance, boast a marvellous array of wildlife - from African bull frogs to wild ducks and geese flighting in during the last few minutes of twilight. It is a wonderful place to sit and experience the untamed wilds of Africa and mankind becoming one.

With over 40 years experience hunting all over the world it was only a matter of time before our attention was steered towards South Africa and its vast plains, thick bush and towering mountains... not to mention some of the best shooting in the world! With 5 species of dove, 7 duck species, 3 goose species and numerous other game and sporting birds, not to mention the 100's of species to be taken with rifle and bow, South Africa really is the pinnacle of hunting. It was no wonder that after 10 years of hunting with other outfitters and not being entirely happy with everything on offer we made the choice to buy our own game farm. The purchase was made in 2003/4 and we have never looked back. This is a family farm owned and managed by Bob and Alex Goss and our helpful professional staff.
