Jays Off Quay & Jays Boma are two lovely facilities on the Lake where you can spend a weekend out of the city and relax in a country atmosphere an hour away from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Both can also serve as a nice base to explore the bushveldt and the Magaliesburg range of mountains right up to Sun City which is only 95 km away. Privacy is paramount and you can spend your time as quiet as you like or share it with friends and family.

Jays Off Quay is a luxury apartment in a secure Golf Estate on the shores of the Hartebeespoort dam with a picturesque view of the course, harbour and lake.

Jays Boma is a bushveld like, braai and party facility hidden in a forrested platau in the village of Kosmos overlooking the dam and Pecanwood golf estate in the distance.

JAYS OFF QUAY - SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION

A luxury one bedroom apartment on a golf estate - Caribbean Beach Club. The main bedroom has a double bed and glass sliding doors that open up on the balcony (gas braai available). The lounge area has a large picture window with a beautiful unobstructed view over the 2nd green, harbour and the dam.

The lounge is fitted with a DSTV decoder, flat screen TV and surround sound home theater system (Remember to bring your own DSTV card). A second double bed is built into this area and can be utilized by another couple or children. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The St James club facility is 200 meters away and include a restaurant The Harbour Cafe for breakfast and other meals. Facilities include golf, tennis, squash, fishing, water sport and swimming. Launching of your own boat or jet ski can be arranged for your own cost.

JAYS BOMA - SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Jays Boma is a rustic stone building, hidden in a forested part of Kosmos on a plateau, which ensures privacy while still providing you with a great view of the Hartbeespoort dam.

Accommodation consists of a separate wing attached to the main house, but completely apart, with its own private entrance. One master bedroom, furnished with a queen-size bed and one large party-room, with four single beds. One bathroom with a vast shower in rustic stone.

A huge fireplace, a massive bar-counter which opens up on an outside braai area. As well as a fully equipped kitchenette with stove, oven microwave and utensils for eight people. Coffee tea and rusks are supplied. The entertainment area is large enough to accommodate plenty of guests for outside dining and braai activities under a massive oak tree.

There is a TV in the bar which will ensure that you wont miss any sport or other of your favourite programs.

The village of Kosmos has a variety of things to do, amongst others there is an exclusive picnic and braai area on the shore with a landing area for boats for Jays Boma guests (no power boat provided, but boat trips can be arranged) Canoe is available.

There are four golf courses close by (Sandy Lane, Pecanwood, Magalies Park and the new development Seasons, on the old Brits Golf course.)
