Selous Bush Camp
DESCRIPTION
Selous Bush Camp is a semi-luxury tented chalet camp situated in the malaria-free Mankwe Game Reserve, 5000 hectares in size and close to Pilanesberg and Sun City. Selous is one of only two concessions on the game reserve guests are assured of a exclusive private wildlife experience.
The Mankwe Reserve is home to around 2000 head of wild game including eland, white rhino, giraffe, and large herds of impala, wildebeest and zebra as well as many other interesting and rare species of game. Nocturnal animals include aardvark, brown hyena, civet, genet, leopard and honey badger.
Selous Bush Camp is a classic cotton canvas camp in the old explorers style with the main lodge area under 180 square meters of khaki Bedouin-style tent. The camp features 24-beds and each tent is a double en-suite nestled into pristine African bushveld and set apart from the other cottage tents ensuring privacy for guests. Meals can be enjoyed in the lodge tent or under the stars in our exquisite open air boma.
