Located in Potchefstroom in South Africa’s North West province, our Fine Country Estate offers a relaxing atmosphere in a picturesque garden setting along the banks of the Mooi River.
The tranquil estate is situated close enough to amenities to be conveniently located for business in Potch and surrounding areas, yet secluded enough to keep that country charm.
We offer personalised service that will bring you back to our door time and time again, to enjoy our beautifully serene estate.
The property has a rich history with the original farm buildings (now the Peacock & Kingfisher rooms), dating back to the early 1900’s.
Geographically it forms part of the 2.4 million year old Ventersdorp lava flow system and has some excellent examples of volcanic dolomite rock.
As a tributary of the great Vaal River, the Mooi River, running through the property, is rich in alluvial diamond deposits.
The gardens are a bird watchers paradise with some rare species to be spotted.

Not Aa Quality Accomodation We found a spent condom under the bed. When we climbed into bed we found it was broken. We couldn’t contact any one at reception. Unsuccessfully I attempted to try prop up the bed with bricks. Eventually they answered the phone & came to move us to another room. This is the kind of stuff I expect from a backyard motel, not an expensive guest lodge and definitely not from an AA Quality assured establishment
