Hakuna Matata Game Lodge

Hakuna Matata translates to No worries. The lodge is named for the well known phrase from the Disney movie The Lion King. The chalets, lapa and boma are all named after characters in the movie.
The lodge is situated in the North West province, close to Sun City and the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

TheLodge offers 7 self catering air-conditioned chalets. A 5th person can sleep on a sleeper couch.
Linen is supplied but guests are requested to bring their own towels.Each chalet has a bathroom with toilet, shower and basin. Each kitchen is complete with all necessities. The chalets are arranged in a circle around a central grassed area with the swimming pool.

There is an entertainment area equipped with a pool table and darts, as well as DSTV. A communal kitchen in the catering area has a large fridge and freezer, microwave oven and ice machine. Catering can be arrange on request.

The lodge offers game drives and three hiking trails, as well as horse trails. Also on offer is bow hunting. Guests are provided with free firewood, as well as two game drives a day. Nearby attractions also include Sun City, as well as the Big 5 at Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

Animals housed in the reserve include Nyala, Kudu, Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest, Impala, Duiker, Steenbok, Blesbok and Warthog, as well as numerous bird species.
