The Protea Hotel Stellenbosch is situated in the heart of the Winelands, in one of the most beautiful and heritage conscious towns. The hotel features 180 rooms all overlooking either the Kleine Zalze and Blaauwklippen wine estates, Table Mountain and the Helderberg Mountains, or Stellenbosch vineyards. The rooms consist of 4 Executive Rooms, 88 Deluxe Rooms and 88 Standard Twin Rooms.

Executive Rooms consist of a king size bed and lounge area with a full en-suite bathroom with separate shower. Fitted with a plasma screen television and mini kitchenette, this room has been designed with the Executive traveller in mind.

Deluxe Rooms consist of a double bedroom with king size bed, separate lounge area with TV and DVD player and kitchenette, as well as an en-suite bathroom including separate shower. King beds can also be converted to 2 single beds and the lounge of the Deluxe Rooms easily accommodates a third person sharing.

Standard Twin rooms consist of two beds with en-suite shower only. King beds can also be converted to 2 single beds. The Deluxe and Standard rooms can be booked as a family unit, which combines to form an apartment, ideal for families and groups.

Wireless internet access is free of charge and is available in all bedrooms, public areas, conference rooms and restaurants. The Cultivar Restaurant, catering for up to 220 GUESTS, offers a traditional buffet breakfast from 06h30 to 10h30, light lunch from midday onwards and a set menu or buffet dinners from 18h30 to 22h30.

Die Wingerd Restaurant offers a more informal atmosphere, with seating both inside and out. It's a la cart menu is meant to please! Dinner times are from 16h00 to 22h30 and they offer Sunday buffet lunches from 12h00 to 16h00. Braai and Pizza area with outside seating makes this a perfect way to end off the day or conference.
