Masiphephe Guesthouse is situated in the hearts of Richmond, KwaZulu-Natal which is about 120km from Durban and approximately 38km from Pietermaritzburg.
Richmond boasts a rich history in South Africa with multiple Game Reserves within close proximity, white water rafting in the Beautiful Umkomaas River for the more adventurous guest. Or historical national monument visits. Masiphephe Guesthouse is surrounded by beautiful green rolling country side with Richmond Country Sports Club just 2km away boasting a golf course. Richmond is one of KwaZulu-Natal’s best kept secret, it is both a quiet and quaint town but still manages to offer both local and international visitors a wide variety of activities to enjoy before enjoying the sunset hills of KwaZulu-Natal.
We also offer a shuttle service with Commit Your Wayz - Travel with Comfort, from the Airport (King Shaka International) or Oribi Pietermaritzburg Airport and all around KZN to the Guesthouse.

The guesthouse has a restaurant with in-house chefs where you can come in with friends/family and order any meal from our menu, from breakfast menus to lunch and dinner.

We also have a braai area where you can come and enjoy your braai days with friends/family or even come on sports days with friends and enjoy your favorite sport whilst enjoying the braai. Your choice whether you want to hire the venue and self- cater or we cater for you.
