At the top of Swellendam main road the jewel of the town’s historic buildings can be seen: The Drostdy Museum. Behind this complex our historic Guest house-Restaurant, with 12 well priced rooms, is located.
The view on the Langeberg Mountains from the pool and lush garden is breathtaking. All rooms and public areas have free internet access. In the lounge books can be read or movies watched on a large screen television. When the weather is warm, guests can retreat to the pool. The peace and quietness at night guarantees a good sleep.

The restaurant is a local gem in an historical stable, overlooking the Drostdy building. Opposite the guest house the interesting Drostdy museum complex is located. Around the corner several coffee places and souvenir shops can be found and further down the main street the beautiful Dutch reformed church and a brand new shopping mall can be found, all within walking distance. Going up the mountain, guests can do several hiking or mountain trails in the Marloth Nature reserve. Going to the south you will find the entrance of the Bontebok National Park. When willing to drive further the Hoop National Park is a real beauty.
