Bo Kouga Mountain Retreat is situated in the heart of Uniondale (Western Cape).This retreat offers five self catering cottages that were established in the 1860’s and have been lovingly restored.
Things to see and do in the area include hiking, walking, mountain biking, bird watching, game camps, farm animals, horse riding, waterfalls, dams, Little Karoo Wine Route, Nagmaal Huisies, Muted Bells of Uniondale, Swartberg Nature Reserve and Kamanassie Nature Reserve.
Bo Kouga Mountian Retreat offers five self catering cottages that all come fully equipped with single/double/queen size beds, heaters, wardrobes, desks, lounge area, en-suite bathrooms; kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery, fireplace, sliding doors, dining room, braai facilities, complimentary toiletries, day bed and sleeper couches (in some cottages),private patio and tea and coffee making facilities.Buffalo Cottage is the biggest with two bedrooms both with queen size beds, hairdryers, dishwasher, washing machine and DVD player.
Bo Kouga is on a 300 ha mountain retreat where guests can experience the tranquillity of the fauna, flora and starlit nights.Nature lovers will find an abundance of birds, wild flowers, springbok, eland, zebra and gemsbok.Guests will see panoramic mountain views and the occasional leopard that roams the mountain ravines.
